[Scorchflame]

Scorchflame headed out to hunt, figuring an extra mouse or two wouldn't harm anybody. She sniffed the air once she thought she was a good enough distance away from camp that prey would start coming out. The whiff of mouse led her towards a plump scrap of fur nibbling on dew-coated grass.

Scorchflame narrowed her eyes and dropped into a crouch, quickly and silently stalking the creature. Once she was a reasonable distance away, the bright orange she-cat lept, claws extended, towards the furry grey mouse. She dispatched the animal with a sharp blow to the head and kicked some dirt over it to pick up later.

Moonstar just happened to be walking passed when she noticed Scorchflames catch. "You are an excellent hunter." she mewed. "You will be a powerful leader one day. Moonstar remembered her clan she was born in..Waterclan. She wished she could just let Scorchflame take over as leader and Moonstar could just go back to her former clan and be Moonstone again and be with all her friends, but she just couldnt go on like that. She gave Scorchflame a little smile and went into the shadows to rest and get away from her duties for a few moments.
