Leopardstar exited her den, and noticed how empty the clearing was. WoodClan was seriously short on warriors. Not good if a Clan attacked.

Pepper, the rogue cat leader, had wandered into the camp. she peered into a few dens. Then she peered into the leaders den. She spotted a cat inside. "I- uh.." she mumbled. "Are you the leader here?" she asked, finally finding the right words to say. "I need to speak to some leaders of some clans." she explained. "I want to find out which clan i was from!" she announced. "I am no threat!" then she lowered her eyes and gave a serious stare. "For now anyway." She stared at the cat hard. " i came from a clan, but dont know which one. I forget things i usually dont care about. I just thought that now i should know. I believe my name was blackpelt. Do you know if this is the clan I was from?" (just say yes if you want this to be the clan i was from or no if you dont. i am trying to find a clan that pepper has once belonged to. i wouldl ike it to be this clan!)

Leopardstar jumped up, snarling at the new cat. "What are you doing here? Don't you know not to sneak into other Clan's territories?!"She hissed, then heard Pepper speak. She sat back down, curling her tail over her paws. Her eyes widened in shock. "Blackpelt!? It can't be! We thought you were dead!"Leopardstar paced, thinking. "Yes, this is your Clan. You were one of the finest warriors we had, then you disappeared. We assumed you were dead. Not many cats are left here. A strange sickness wiped most of them out, including our leader, Froststar. She was the leader when you were here."She said quietly.

Pepper sniffed. Froststar had died? She was the only one close to her and was the only one who had understood her. "Oh.." Pepper mewed sadly at the mention of her former clan leaders death. "So you are leader now?" she whispered. She didn't really want to stay any longer. She started to run back to her little camp, but paused for a moment. "I am coming later to ask where Froststar has been buried. I will sit where she was buried all night!" Pepper yelled out. She was so upset. If it was a cat that killed Froststar, then Pepper would have already gone searching for the cat for revenge. She would fight that cat to the death! But she couldnt get revenge on the sickness. She thought about asking to be medicine cat, because then she could sorta get a bit of revenge on the sickness and she cared for herself, so she used herbs to cure herself. She wasnt the best at it though. But then she wouldnt be able to go out and fight that much. And besides, she didn't want to join another clan. She was happy where she was in life...well sorta... She just needed more cats to join her. She ran back to her little camp. She thought she might come back in a day or two. Maybe sooner.

Leopardstar watched her go, wishing she could comfort her. She remembered how she had felt, when Froststar had died. She had been angry, hurt, confused. Shaking her head, she went back inside her den.

Leopardstar padded in to consult with her senior warriors.
"We must attack GrassClan. They are the closest, and easiest to attack."
"We don't have enough cats. We could never win!"Stormtail said
"Yes we do, and we'll have the element of surprise. Things are peaceful right now, they'll never expect it."Leopardstar replied.
"Are you sure?"
"Positve."
"Fine, since you're my leader, I'll obey your orders even though I don't agree with them. But should we lose many more cats, I'm leaving. Maybe join another Clan, or become a rogue, but I won't stay."
"But why Stormtail?"
"Because we are weak, we could be attacked. And if we lose more cats, we'll no longer be a Clan. We won't have enough cats to be one. And because I could have a better life elsewhere."
"I thought I had your loyalty."
"You do."
"You put your own desires before the Clans, altough I can't say I blame you. If we don't win, WoodClan will not survive."
"Then don't attack."
"It is the only way to become stronger."
"Wait a few moons. Then we'll be stronger."
"I don't have moons! Other Clans are showing signs of aggresion! We don't even dare to go to Gatherings anymore!"
"I suppose you're right."
"Yes, now go. I need to think things over."
The cats nodded and left.

Pepper~
(a few days later)
Pepper snuck quiety into the woodclan camp and then charged into the leaders den. She nearly bumped into Leopardstar. "Oh! Sorry! are you ok!" she cried. "I came here to ask where my former leader has been buried. I must go there." She mewed quiety all of a sudden.She lowered her eyes and stared sadly at the ground.

Leopardstar glanced at her. "She's buried by the old oak tree. Stormtail, go with her. And look, Pepper, you can't really barge into camp like this. You should wait for a patrol to go by, and they can take you here. If one of my warriors saw you, they wouldn't hesitate to attack. They'd think you were intruding. Stormtail, show her where the tree is."Stormtail nodded, and left the den, beckoning for Pepper to follow. (I'm making a thread)

(ok) Pepper quickly gave an apologetic glance to Leopardstar and then followed Stormtail out of the den.
